Agents by department

Give every employee an agent that does the work around their work.

One agent per person, configured for their department, scoped to their permissions and governed from one console.

  • 5–7 h saved per person, weekly
  • 8 department templates
  • 1 governance console

In short

What do Velum personal agents do?

Velum Personal agents are governed AI agents assigned to individual employees across departments such as sales, finance, HR, legal, operations and engineering. Each agent inherits the employee's identity and permissions through SSO, works inside email, calendar, chat and department systems, requires approval for outbound or irreversible actions, and is managed from a central console with policies, audit logs and usage reporting.

Assistants answer questions; personal agents act. Each employee gets an agent built from a department template, connected through single sign-on to the tools they already use and limited to what they can already see. It prepares the day, clears the inbox, preps meetings, turns decisions into tasks and runs the recurring work of the role. Anything that sends, signs or spends waits for the person, and IT sees every agent and every action in one place.

Personal agents: good questions

01

How is this different from Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise?

They are assistants you ask. Personal agents are configured per role, connected to department systems and allowed to act, with approvals and audit. We can build on licences you already have.

02

Can an agent see more than the employee?

No. Agents inherit the employee's SSO identity and permissions, and IT can restrict them further by department policy.

03

Is this only for large enterprises?

No. Teams of 30 get the same agents with lighter governance. Enterprises add department templates, SIEM export and on-premise options.

04

How do we start?

With an AI opportunity audit: we map the workflow, report the opportunities, and agree scope and success criteria before building.

05

What happens after launch?

We hand over documentation and train the owner. Managed AI operations can run and improve the agents for you.
